Midground defined by dirt road extending across the width of the painting and receding into background; single horse carriage traveling to the left with one woman inside; beyond the road lies a story and a half green farmhouse with single story extensions on either side; stands with two red outbuildings behind to the left; right midground contains red barn and barnyard; scattered trees throughout midground. Generally wooded background with a mix of unidentified deciduous and coniferous trees fades into light blue clear sky. Annotated, printed words below bottom border of print read "Residence" (left) and "Barn." (right). Frame is original.
