Midground centers on white, two-story, second empire style house with front porch; collection of people gathered on and around the porch, surrounding grassy yard ornamentally planted with saplings; drive to the left side extending back towards a small carriage house with horse and single figure in the doorway; entire property enclosed with split rail and picket fencing; small tilled gardens and orchards beyond the carriage house and additional outbuildings.
