Albumen print of nine pictures depicting residences in the vicinity of Otter Pond in Sag Harbor, N.Y.. Center image shows a view across Otter Pond, dirt road encircling the water with pedestrians and one-horse cart traveling along, several copses of trees along the banks of the pond, two sailboats on the water, cluster of trees and dock to far right side, buildings spread out along the far bank and horizon line in the background, several clouds in the sky above. Labeled at bottom of image, "Otter Pond. Sag Harbor. L.I.". Four smaller details of residences positioned along the top border labeled, "Residence of W. White.", "Residence of W. Cohu White.", "Residence of C.R. Morris.", and "Residence of Capt. J. Gray.". Four smaller details of residences positioned along the bottom border labeled, "Residence of G.B. Warner." "Residence of T.H. Strong.", "Residence & Store of T.H. Eldredge.", and "Residence of Capt. E.B. Hill.". Structures all of varying design and original time period, many seemingly renovated with updated Victorian design elements.
